On Sunday July 17 2011 the Rotary Club of Uxbridge presented its 28th annual Uxbridge Autoshow. It's purpose was to raise funds for charity by organising a show where enthusiasts and their families can display their veteran, vintage and club vehicles in a congenial atmosphere and meet their friends and others who share their interest; and to give the public an opportunity to see something of the world of historic and classic vehicles.
This is the 28th year Uxbridge Rotary have organized the event which includes hundreds of classic and vintage cars plus new stock from numerous local car dealer groups.
The event is always popular and this year was no exception despite the rather inclement weather. There is always lots of family fun including a motor bike stunt team, funfair and sheep dog trials in addition to numerous trophies for classic car owners.
Company Director Marcus Robinson, a member of Uxbridge Rotary says it is always nice to see such a popular local event yield such good returns for charity.
